If you are reading this, you have to get on Mel’s class schedule! I took a four-part clay-modeling course at Spirit Hound Distillers and enjoyed every minute of it. Mel explains each part of the art process with professionalism but fun, and I really admire how she runs her business. These are great to attend solo, with a friend, or on a date.

Loved the beginner drawing and painting classes so much! This is true art instruction and not a paint and sip. The instructor, Mel is so knowledgeable and I feel like I walked away with new skills, including color mixing! (So fun). Drawing, sketching, and being creative is such a soul-unleashing experience. I believe everyone has the right to enjoy such a wonderful thing. The lighting was chill and relaxing, the instructor Melanie was quite friendly and brought the perfect amount of energy for someone teaching their passion. The music was on point with the whole atmosphere which was calm, inviting, and truly freeing. Take a class here! Take ten! We had such a fun night with Mel at the Douglas County Library in Lone Tree. We are a young couple and this has been one of our favorite date nights to date. We enjoyed doing the paint by numbers activity and the event was well organized. We look forward to participating in the future.
